Poison Flower Gang

We do not want to tear down the farm because we feel that there are too few farms in singapore. The road towards the farm is very deserted...so if we build a school there nobody will go there cause it is too far away. We can also use the farm to educate the students in schools about the importants of plants. The students can also learn planting skills thus we should keep the farm and educate students of singapore.By keeping the farm,we also maintain the natural landscape which is very limited in singapore.

We learn the properties of diffrent plants and their importance to our living. For example, the aloe vera has a healing property which can speed the healing of a wound, make the skin smoother and cure sunburn. There is over 16 species of banana trees, each tree having their own use.For example, the Pisang Raja is the only banana best to make Goreng Pisang. We also learnt that spices can be used to improve aroma, taste and colour of the food.

We also found out that a mango tree looks like a bird nest fern.We also found different types of plants such as,the blue pea vine, oregano, tapeworm plant and the jambu.Sadly we could not find the mango tree as we thought it was a bird nest fern.

These are some of the plants we found.......................................

We saw the process of how milk is taken out from a goat. There are many species of goats. They also told use that the female goat's horn are burnt off to prevent two pregnant goats from fighting and causing a miscarriage. We also tasted goat milk and found that it was completely different from cows milk.We tasted the chocolate flavoured milk and it tasted nice.Goat's milk has more protein then cow's milk and are also known to be more alkaline. The goats has only two utters while the cow has four. The goat can only give out about 4 litres while the cow can produce about 20 litres.
We really enjoyed the wholeday and would like to thank Mr Zul and Mr Jonathan for guiding us through this fun journey.Don't do drugs.
